Andrea Holliday, beloved mother, daughter, sister, and faithful child of God, peacefully passed away in the morning hours of Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 57, surrounded by the love of her family.
Some people pass through this world quietly, leaving behind little more than memories softened by time. And then there are the rare souls whose love becomes part of the lives they touch, the kind of people whose presence lingers long after they are gone. People who leave warmth in every room, light in the hearts of others, and a kind of love that time itself cannot unwrite.
Andrea Holliday was one of those people.
She moved through life with gentleness, grace, and a heart so full of compassion that it changed everyone she met. To know Andrea was to know kindness in its purest form. She had a way of making people feel safe, understood, and deeply cared for, often without realizing the impact she had on them. Her love lived in simple moments: soft words, long hugs, and the constant way she placed others before herself.
She left traces of herself everywhere in the people she loved and the lives she touched through quiet acts of tenderness. Her warmth stayed with you.
Andrea carried beauty with her wherever she went. She was rarely without her signature red lipstick and freshly painted red nails, details that became unmistakably hers. They reflected a woman who was vibrant, graceful, resilient, and full of life. Even in her hardest moments, she chose to show up with strength, beauty, and light for those around her.
Guided by a deep faith in God, Andrea lived with compassion at the center of everything she did. She loved without limits and gave without hesitation. As a mother, daughter, sister, and friend, she poured herself into the people she loved. Her children were the heart of her world, and everything she did was rooted in love for them.
Her love as a mother was constant and enduring, woven into every part of their lives in the way she cared for them, comforted them, and built a home filled with safety, tradition, and devotion. It did not need to be spoken loudly to be felt; it simply was.
As a single mother, Andrea carried enormous responsibility while still filling her children's world with warmth, laughter, and lasting memories. She worked tirelessly and sacrificed without complaint, always ensuring they felt safe, supported, and deeply loved.
Even through life's hardest seasons, Andrea never lost her spirit. Her battle with cancer did not take away her curiosity, determination, or hope. She continued taking online classes, continued growing, and continued believing in all that life still had to offer. She faced every challenge with grace, resilience, and courage that inspired everyone around her.
A California girl through and through, Andrea belonged near the ocean. She loved golden sunlight, the feeling of water, and the freedom of open skies. The ocean reflected her spirit, calm yet endless, gentle yet full of life. She dreamed of traveling, collecting moments and beauty wherever she could.
She loved animals deeply, especially her cats, Nico and Issy, who brought her comfort and joy. Her tenderness toward them reflected the way she moved through the world, patient, gentle, and full of compassion.
More than anything, Andrea loved.
She loved with her whole soul.
Still, a love like hers does not fade, not with time, not with absence, not with goodbye.
Though her family's hearts ache beyond words, they carry with them the privilege of having been loved by her. That love remains in their memories, their laughter, their strength, and the way they continue to love others because she first loved them.
When people think of Andrea, they will remember a woman who moved through the world with grace and strength, the unspoken dignity in the way she lived each day, and the unmistakable red lipstick and nails that became her lasting signature, as if beauty itself had chosen to remain with her.
Some souls are never truly gone from the lives they touched.
Andrea was one of them.
