Listen to Obituary

Benny Ray Brewer was born on February 23, 1964 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Linda Alley Brewer and Jimmy Allen Brewer. He passed away on April 7, 2026 in his hometown of Tulsa.

Benny loved sports at an early age and participated in both baseball and ice hockey. He played baseball from elementary school through the pony league in junior high. Benny was selected to play ice hockey on the All Stars traveling team who won the Mid America Championship in 1974.

Benny was very outgoing and possessed a true love for his family and friends. He was selected as the 1982 Boy of the Year at Berryhill High School his senior year. Through participation in school and these sports he made wonderful, lifelong friends.

Benny married Britany Frizzell in October of 1992. Benny had a heart of gold when it came to animals. He and Britany rescued countless dogs and cats over the many years of their marriage. He will be missed by the current brood of Sage, Pookie, Punkin and Puddin. Benny worked as a bail bondsman for several years. He then decided to follow in his Pappa's footsteps and become a welder. After extensive training, he worked at numerous manufacturing facilities. His career was cut short when he developed Rheumatoid Arthritis. He spent his final years caring for his home, wife and pets.

Benny was predeceased by his father, Jimmy Allen Brewer; grandparents, Jim and Lena Alley and Allen and Jewell Brewer.

Benny is survived by his wife, Britany; his mother and step-father, Linda and Gary Hendrick; his "brother by choice" Rick Kunze and his wife, Robin; sister-in-law, Geneva Phillips and her daughter, Kelsey; his uncle, Ron Alley and countless cousins and lifelong friends.

Benny will be remembered by many for his loving gracious and kind spirit, and for sure by his infectious smile.
