Charles Tilson

Charles Alfred Tilson Jr., 67, of Catoosa, OK, passed away on September 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on April 27, 1958, in Syracuse, New York, Charles was the son of the late Charles Tilson Sr. and Carmelita (Sirianni) Tilson.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Navy, a chapter of his life that instilled in him a deep sense of discipline, pride, and loyalty. After his service, he found his calling as a skilled CNC machinist-a trade that reflected both his precision and work ethic.

A true outdoorsman, Charles found peace and joy in nature. Whether he was casting a line into his favorite fishing spot, hunting in the quiet woods, or camping under the stars, he felt most at home in the great outdoors. His passions also included his beloved St. Louis Cardinals and cheering on his cherished Oklahoma Sooners. Game days were always a big deal in the Tilson home.

Above all else, Charles was a devoted family man. He treasured every moment spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and even his "grandpups." His love was unwavering, his presence comforting, and his laughter contagious. He created a home full of warmth, humor, and lasting memories.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Judy (Cole) Tilson; his children: Anna (Bobby) Edwards, Charlie Tilson III, Christi (Jason) K'nuckles, Amber (Tim) Scott, William (Samantha Edwards) Tilson, and adopted daughter Stacie Scott. He also leaves behind his brother, Michael Tilson; sister, Michelle Burgess; and his cherished grandchildren: Megan (Matthew Allen) Tilson, Alexis Wells, Abigail Edwards, Roush Wells, Daisy Tilson, and Lucy Tilson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Tilson Sr. and Carmelita (Sirianni) Tilson.

Charles' legacy lives on through the love he gave, the stories he told, and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
