David Allan Walker, 71, passed away peacefully at home on February 7, 2026.

David was born on October 13, 1954, in Dallas, Texas, to Richard Walker and Sondra Wade. From an early age, David carried a gentle spirit and a caring heart that would define the way he lived his life. He was known for his kindness, his steady presence, and the quiet compassion he extended to those around him.

David worked as a truck driver, a profession that suited his independent nature and strong work ethic. He spent countless hours on the open road, providing for his family and taking pride in the work he did. Though he traveled many miles, his heart was always centered on the people he loved most.

He had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. His gentle nature made him a natural companion to every pet he met, and animals seemed to sense the goodness in him. Above all, David treasured his role as a grandfather. His two grandsons, Cole and Tyler Arnold, were the light of his life. He loved being their "Grandpa," sharing stories, laughter, and creating memories they will carry with them forever.

David also shared a devoted and loving partnership with Marie Sexton for 26 years. Their bond was one of enduring love, companionship, and unwavering support. Together, they built a life filled with shared moments and deep affection.

He is survived by his beloved girlfriend, Marie Sexton; his daughter, Stephanie Walker; his son, Jason Walker; and his cherished grandsons, Tyler and Cole Arnold.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sondra Kaye Wade; his grandmother, Delpha Dodd Jinkins; and his great-grandmother, Daisy Lavelle.

David will be remembered for his gentle soul, his caring heart, and the quiet strength he showed throughout his life. Though he is no longer with us, the love he gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
