Dianna Kay Kuehn (Fortenberry), 64, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, surrounded by the love of her family and those who meant so much to her. She was born on October 23, 1961, in Arkansas City, Kansas, to Jack Fortenberry and Iona Gaddis.

Dianna was a woman who had a way of making everyone feel welcome. Outgoing, compassionate, and full of life, she truly never met a stranger. She could talk to anyone, and before long, that person often felt like an old friend. She had a remarkable heart for caring for others and was known as a caregiver to everyone-a mother figure to many, whether they were family by blood or simply family by love. She gave generously of herself and always seemed to find a way to make sure those around her were cared for.

One of Dianna's greatest joys was her garden. She loved flowers, especially her beautiful rose bushes, and took great pride in tending to her fruits and vegetables. Her garden was a reflection of her-full of life, beauty, and something to share with others. Family and friends especially looked forward to receiving her hand-picked tomatoes, lovingly grown and generously given. She also had a special love for hummingbirds and regularly fed them, taking great delight in watching them visit her planters.

Dianna was wonderfully creative and resourceful. She loved sewing and knitting and enjoyed making clothes for the children she loved. She found happiness in crafting, refurbishing furniture, and interior decorating. She had an incredible ability to look at something and envision what it could become. With her creativity, intelligence, and determination, she could put things together, transform them, and make them beautiful. She also enjoyed collecting cherished knickknacks and had a special collection of shofars (Israeli horns), each holding a place of meaning to her.

Above all, Dianna loved the Lord. Her faith was an important part of who she was. She attended Pentecostal Tabernacle, where she experienced a deeply meaningful moment in her faith journey when she was filled with the Holy Spirit while singing on the praise and worship team. Her love for God was woven into the way she lived-through her compassion, generosity, and willingness to care for others.

Perhaps one of Dianna's greatest joys was being a grandmother. Her granddaughter, Lyra, lovingly called her "Ganma," and the two shared an especially beautiful bond. They loved spending time together in the garden and watching movies side by side. They were often described as two peas in a pod, a reflection of the closeness and love they shared. Dianna treasured her grandchildren and cherished every moment she was given with them.

Dianna leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through the many lives she touched. She is survived by her mother, Iona; her husband, Dale Kuehn; her daughters, Laura and Amy; her son, Duane; her grandchildren, Lyra, Alex, and newest addition, Zara; her siblings, Karen, Debbie, and Gary; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her dearly.

Though her absence will leave an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, Dianna's memory will live on in the gardens she lovingly tended, the hummingbirds she welcomed, the things she created with her hands, the laughter and conversations she shared, the tomatoes she so happily gave away, and most of all, in the people she cared for so deeply.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, caregiver, and a source of comfort to so many. Dianna never met a stranger because she had a heart that made room for everyone. Her love was generous, her spirit was bright, and her presence made the world a little warmer.

She will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and greatly missed. May she rest in the loving arms of the Lord she cherished so dearly.
