Listen to Obituary

Douglas Mark Rock Jr. passed away on April 6, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. He was born on August 17, 1954, in Staten Island, New York, to Douglas Rock Sr. and Lois (Booth) Tucker.

Doug was raised in New Jersey, where he attended Piscataway Township Schools. From a young age, he had a love for motorcycles-even owning a Harley-Davidson while still in high school-reflecting his adventurous spirit that stayed with him throughout his life.

He dedicated 15 years of his career as a manager at Ken's, where he was known for his strong work ethic and steady leadership.

Above all, Doug loved his family. Holidays were especially meaningful to him, as he made it a priority to gather with family and friends, creating lasting traditions and memories. His family was truly his world, and they remember him as a strong, loving, and good man.

Doug had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping, and spent cherished time in the Broken Bow area camping and fishing-time that brought him great peace and joy. Some of his children's fondest memories include snow days spent building forts, having spirited snowball fights, and even blowing up snowmen afterward-moments that perfectly captured his playful nature and ability to make life fun.

He is survived by his children and loved ones: Breanna Rogers and husband Gregory; Brian Lindsey and wife Jessica Siminski; Ed Rock and wife Sheila; Pamela Garside and Brad Fortenberry; Lois Rock; Timothy Rock; Cherie Di Re; Dawn Kielir; and Shawn Tucker and wife Amber; along with ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Doug was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Aileen Rock; his daughter, Heather Kirkland; his mother, Lois Tucker; and his father, Douglas Mark Rock Sr.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
