Listen to Obituary

Dustin Marshall Thompson passed away suddenly around July 21, 2025 from an apparent heart attack. He was 44.

Dustin was born on April 26, 1981 to Herbert (Shooter, Thom) L. and Terrie L. (Drew, Rowland,Thompson) Holdsworth in Renton, WA, weighing in at 8 lbs., 8 oz. He was an easy going, fun baby, traits that remained throughout his life. Growing up, he enjoyed several sports and Boy Scouts, then moved on to being a semi-pro American Bullfighter (rodeo clown) for several years.

Dustin graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, WA in 1999, and went on to earn a card dealer certificate, a skill he never used.

He loved body building and owned a personal training studio (No-Bull Fitness) for a couple of years. He was an avid salesperson, selling motorcycles, solar panels, vehicles, and RVs, to name a few. Dustin became a great pool player and enjoyed sharing that talent with others. He loved riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, and four wheelers, along with boating of any type. He was also proficient in snowboarding and mechanics.

Physically, Dustin could be intimidating with his muscular physique, but he had a heart of gold and a gentle spirit. He went to heaven way too soon and will be loved and missed forever by his family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents (Harold and Nella Rowland) and his paternal grandparents (Russell and Lela Robinson). He is survived by his mother and stepfather Terrie and Dan Holdsworth, his father and stepmother Herbert (Shooter, Thom) Thompson and Mary Daugherty, brothers Colton Thompson, Chris Thompson, and Lonnie Pennington, sister Monica Thompson, maternal aunt and uncle Diane and Chris Pace, maternal aunt Denise Sampson, paternal aunt and uncle Heather and Tom Walters and family, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 2:00 pm, with details provided to his family and friends.

In addition, a Pool 8 Tournament dedicated to Dustin will be held August 9, 2025 starting with sign-ups at noon and the tournament at 1:00 pm ($10 entry fee) at the VFW Hall, 2220 S. Hwy 48, Mannford, OK, 918-845-7751. Proceeds will benefit Dustin's family.
