Jerry Huey

Jerry Dale Huey Sr., 75, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away at home on September 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on December 15, 1949, in Webb City, Missouri, to Robert Henry Huey and Johnnie Mae Huey, Jerry lived a life rich in humor, devotion, and integrity.

A proud Vietnam Veteran, Jerry served in the U.S. Navy with honor and deep pride. Following his service, he began what would become a long and rewarding career as a maintenance technician for printing presses-a journey that began humbly, helping his father with printing work, and eventually led to national recognition in the industry. Known for his unmatched expertise, Jerry became the go-to man across the country for fixing even the most complex printing presses. He retired in the early 2000s, leaving behind a legacy of excellence, reliability, and craftsmanship.

But Jerry's greatest achievements were not found in his work-they were found at home. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Jerry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was a homebody at heart, happiest when surrounded by family, watching animals on the Nature Channel-or outside-and spending quiet moments in the place he loved most: his home.

Jerry met the love of his life, Pamela Sue Neal, in 1973, and together they built a life of deep connection and shared adventures. Though Pamela loved to explore and try new things, Jerry-ever the steady and loving partner-willingly went along, not out of obligation, but out of love. One of their most recent adventures included collecting signatures for Oklahoma's Medical Marijuana Bill 788, a cause they both believed in. Jerry was a rock of support to his wife and children, always present, always proud.

He found joy in the shooting range, in the quiet presence of his grandchildren, and in the simple act of being with those he loved. His sharp wit, warm heart, and unshakable character will be deeply missed.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Pamela Sue (Neal) Huey; his children, Jerry Dale Huey and Autumn Dyan Huey; and his cherished grandchildren: Jessica Huey, Conner Huey, Robert Huey, Morgan Huey, Jerhyn Skyler Huey, and Trace Andrew Hinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Johnnie Mae Huey.

Jerry's life was a testament to quiet strength, deep loyalty, and unconditional love. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, laughter, and the kind of wisdom only a life well-lived can offer. He will be remembered always by those who knew and loved him.
