Johnny Warren VanSandt, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on April 11, 1948, in Bentonville, Arkansas, Johnny lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family.

Johnny proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a parachute rigger during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he built a lifelong career as a skilled concrete finisher, working as a self-employed craftsman. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to doing things right.

In 2010, Johnny married the love of his life, Pamela McDaniel, in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Together, they shared many years of love, laughter, and treasured memories.

Johnny is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela; his brother, Mike VanSandt; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to carry on his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Jacqueline VanSandt, and his sister, Janice Shaw.

Johnny found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved working on his cherished 1950 truck, trying his luck at slot machines, and spending quiet time fishing. He especially enjoyed cooking outdoors for his family, where he could bring everyone together to share food, stories, and laughter.

A memorial service to honor Johnny's life will be announced at a later date. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life and memories he leaves behind.

Johnny will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
