Julia Douglas

Julia Douglas passed away on December 31, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1982, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, to Lonnie Douglas and Mary Rutledge. Julia was the oldest child and carried that role with strength, love, and devotion to her family.

Julia was blessed with three children: Desmond Vaughn, Diamond Vaughn, and Christy Jay, whom she loved deeply. She was also a proud grandmother to her beloved grandson, Amari Malaki Vaughn, who brought her immense joy.

She is survived by her siblings, Harry Lee Jr. Douglas and Katherine Douglas, as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Julia was preceded in death by her father, her grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

Julia had a true passion for beauty. She loved doing hair and makeup and took pride in helping others feel confident and beautiful. She also enjoyed traveling and creating memories with those she loved most. Above all, Julia loved her children and grandson with her whole heart and lived for them every day.

Julia Douglas will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her spirit, love, and legacy will live on through her family and everyone whose life she touched.
