Listen to Obituary

Kenneth Wayne Shelton, 69, passed from this earth on February 25, 2026. Born on November 9, 1956, Kenneth lived a life defined by quiet strength, simple pleasures, and deep love for his family.

Those who knew Kenneth described him as a quiet man who was simple to please and happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose steady presence and gentle spirit will be dearly missed.

Kenneth worked as an Oilfield Drilling Roughneck, a career that reflected his resilience, determination, and strong work ethic. He took pride in hard work and providing for his family.

Outside of work, Kenneth found joy in life's simple treasures. He dearly loved his animals-his cat, Patches, and his dog, Skeeter-who brought him faithful companionship. He also cherished riding his trike, embracing the open road and feeling the wind on his face, moments that brought him peace and freedom.

Kenneth is survived by his children: Jason Shelton, Toby Shelton, Autumn Sequichie, and Zane Huck; his former spouse, Dianna Miller; his grandchildren: Jacob Shelton, Justin Shelton, Tracer Shelton, Nathan Shelton, Chelsey Shelton, Ashlyn Shelton, Bailey Sequichie, Desiree Sequichie, and Emily Sequichie; as well as multiple great-grandchildren who will carry forward his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Quintella Shelton, and his brothers, Mark Shelton and Jacky Shelton.

Kenneth's legacy lives on in the family he loved so deeply. Though he may have been a quiet man, the love he gave speaks volumes and will echo in the hearts of those who knew him for generations to come.
