Liane Scheffler

Liane Mayo Scheffler (Cabell) 77, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on September 12, 1948 to parents, Dixie Cabell and Burchard Brush in Los Alamos, NM.

Liane is survived by her four daughters: Lisa (John) Killingsworth, Dixie Renfro, Sarah Cheranichit, and Annie (Joseph) Scheffler-Levy. Former Spouse: Rodney Scheffler. Siblings: Bill Cabell and Kathleen (Bob) Walsh. She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Cabe (Claire) Killingsworth, Beck Renfro, Kylie Killingsworth, Brynn Cheranichit, and Maeve Levy.

Liane was a voracious reader, a patron of the arts, and possessed a profound love for her canine companions.

Liane was charismatic and always the life of the party. Both resilient and tenacious, Liane was humanly vulnerable, and perfectly imperfect.

Death is not the end but a continuation of the journey. May our paths cross anon.

A private service will be held at Simplicity Burial and Oklahoma Cremation Centers per the family's request.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
