Manuelito Arguello

Manuelito Alejandrino Arguello (Monty) passed away on September 16, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Monty was born on August 17, 1972 in Oxnard, CA. He was the oldest child of Michael and Margaret Arguello. Growing up, Monty was a talented saxophonist and artist. He excelled in school and made friends easily. He was a protective big brother filled with humor and mischief.

Monty married the love of his life, Angela Hester, on August 14, 2007. Monty loved the Lord and his church. He was also a great fisherman, catching only the biggest ones, in his dreams of course. He was a story-teller, a dreamer, and had a unique creative spirit. He could pull your leg off, and sell ice cubes to eskimoes. He was a large man, but had a heart of gold. He was a brother and a friend when no one else was. He would argue with anyone and debate even with himself, always one side or another, winning the debate. If you knew Monty, he was full of it, but in the end could make you laugh and cry at the same time.

Monty is survived by his daughter, Alisha Robinson; mother-in-law, Beverly Hester; sisters, Marlena and Melissa Arguello; and the friends who became life family.

Monty is preceded in death by his wife, Angela Hester, his grandparents, and extended family.

Thanks for being a brother and a friend. Don't forget while you're in Heaven fishing....leave some for us to catch too.
