Melanie Green

Melanie Kay Green, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away on October 1, 2025. Born in Claremore, Oklahoma on September 24, 1970, to Rodney Caldwell and Sharon (Beane) Carrick, Melanie was with us for only a short time, but she made a lasting impact on all who knew her.

From the moment she entered the world, Melanie was known for her fiery spirit - full of energy, determination, and unmistakable personality. Though her time was brief, her presence was powerful, and her heart was filled with love and gentleness.

Melanie had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. She found peace in the outdoors, whether it was sitting quietly to take in the beauty of nature or strolling through the park with her beloved dog. Her love for animals was boundless and evident in the way she cared for them - with devotion, patience, and joy.

She is survived by her loving mother, Sharon (Beane) Carrick; her father, Rodney Caldwell; her cherished son, Russell Green; and her brother, Keith Caldwell. Each of them carries a part of her spirit - her strength, her kindness, and her unwavering love.

Though her time here was far too short, Melanie's life is a reminder of how even the briefest moments can be filled with love, beauty, and meaning. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
