Ronald Francis Shoemaker II
July 3, 1980 - March 19, 2026

Ronald Francis Shoemaker II passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the age of 45.

Ronald was born on July 3, 1980, in Flint, Michigan, to his parents, Ronald and Harriet (Hunt) Shoemaker. He grew up in Flint and spent most of his life there, building strong roots with family and friends who meant everything to him.

Ronald worked in the construction industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to help others. He was a free spirit-someone who would step in without hesitation when anyone needed support. If you called, he answered. If you needed him, he showed up.

He loved deeply and lived fully. His daughter, Heaven, born in Gillette, Wyoming, was his entire world and his greatest source of pride. Heaven's mother, Miglena, was previously married to Ronald until 2017.

Ronald also had a creative side. He was a poet, a Boy Scout in his younger years, and had a lifelong love for animals. He carried a sense of independence and compassion that shaped the way he lived and cared for others.

Ronald was one of nine siblings, the sixth in line. He was preceded in death by two siblings.

He is survived by six siblings: Hubert of Wyoming, Christopher of Wyoming, Elizabeth of Claremore, Jeffrey Baker of Wyoming, Joseph Baker of Michigan, and John Baker of Wyoming.

Ronald will be remembered for his generous heart, his loyalty, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements are under the care of Simplicity Burial Company and Oklahoma Cremation Centers, 1112 S. Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119. Family and friends may leave kind words of comfort, special memories and condolences to the family online at www.simplicityok.com
