Scott Andrew Pierce, 54, passed away at home in Coweta, Oklahoma, on August 25, 2026.

Scott was born and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts. He worked throughout his life as a chef to build and provide the best life possible for his family. Scott possessed an exceptionally curious and brilliant mind. He had a remarkable ability to accomplish anything he put his mind to.

Scott was a lifelong sports fan especially the Redsox. He enjoyed playing guitar and attending concerts. To Scott, music was more than something to listen to; he understood its power, its meaning, and the messages behind it. His knowledge of music and history was vast and ever growing.

Above all, Scott loved his family. He was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, and his family was the greatest source of love and meaning in his life. He also had many friends and was deeply loved by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Scott leaves behind his mother, Dagmar Pierce of New Bedford, MA; his wife, Margo Pierce of Coweta, OK; his daughter, Andi-Lynn Pierce of Colonia, NJ; his son, Liam Pierce of New Bedford, MA; and his grandson, Ronin Camara of New Bedford, MA.

Scott will be remembered for his brilliant mind, humor, determination, work ethic, love of history, passion for music and sports, and above all, the love he had for his family. His memory will live on through the people he loved, the knowledge he shared, the music he cherished, and the lasting impression he left on those fortunate enough to know him.
