Terry Gene Riley

Terry Gene Riley, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2026, at the age of 33.

Terry was born on April 30, 1993, to Daniel and Dolores Riley. From an early age, he lived life with a fearless spirit and an adventurous heart. His father fondly recalled that Terry learned to jump off the high dive when he was only three years old, a fitting example of the courage and daredevil nature that would follow him throughout his life.

Terry was known for his sense of humor and his ability to make those around him laugh. Whether through a joke, a funny story, or his playful personality, he had a way of bringing smiles to the faces of family and friends. He never met a stranger for long and had a gift for making people feel welcome and comfortable in his presence.

While Terry enjoyed swimming and fishing, the greatest joy in his life was his family. He was a devoted stay-at-home father who cherished every moment spent raising his children. Being a dad was not simply something Terry did—it was who he was. He took pride in being there for his children, creating memories, sharing adventures, offering guidance, and filling their lives with love and laughter.

On June 16, 2023, Terry married the love of his life, Summer. Together they built a life centered around their family and shared dreams for the future. Their love was evident to all who knew them, and Terry's devotion to Summer and their children was unwavering.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Summer Riley; his children, Colton Lynn, Faith Hicks, Ryder Riley, and Marcus Riley; and his unborn daughter, Neveah Riley, whom he was eagerly awaiting to welcome into the world. He is also survived by his loving parents, Dan and Dolores Riley; his brothers, Steven and Matthew; his dear friends, Clint James and James Stimmell; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Terry was preceded in death by his uncle, Terry Tyler.

Though his time on earth was far too short, Terry lived fully and loved deeply. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, courage, kindness, and unconditional love. His children will carry forward the lessons he taught by example, and those who knew him will remember the joy he brought into their lives.

The loss of Terry is deeply felt by all who loved him, but the memories he created, the smiles he shared, and the love he gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends for generations to come.
