William Gill

William "Bill" Louis Gill, 89, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, January 18th surrounded by loving family. Bill was born January 27, 1936 in McAlester, Oklahoma, the son of John Logan Gill and Carolyn Ruth Gill.

Bill worked as an Army Core of engineers in the reserves for several years. He also worked for a TV station in Hawaii. He retired in 1998 from NASA where he worked as an engineer.

Bill enjoyed the arts, specifically ballet and books. He enjoyed season tickets to the Tulsa Ballet and started the tradition with his grandchildren to see the Nutcracker each December. He participated annually in the Makers Faire in Tulsa showcasing his ability to bind and electronically scan his personal library.

Bill is survived by Alissia "Toni" Yarbrough, Kristie Rodgers-Clapper, Elizabeth Yarbrough, Scott Yarbrough, Kylie Yarbrough, Madison Yarbrough, and Alissia Kathy Yarbrough.
